Get Spokegrid set up on your system in minutes. This guide covers everything you need to start deploying templates.

Prerequisites

A GitHub account for authentication and repository management
Modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge)
Internet connection for deployment operations

Step 1: Create Your Account

Spokegrid uses GitHub for authentication, making setup seamless and secure.

1Navigate to spokegrid.com/auth
2Click "Sign in with GitHub"
3Authorize Spokegrid to access your GitHub account
4You'll be redirected to your dashboard automatically

We only request the minimum permissions needed. You can revoke access anytime from your GitHub settings.

Step 2: Connect Vercel (Optional)

For automatic deployments, connect your Vercel account.

1Go to your Dashboard
2Navigate to Settings → Integrations
3Click "Connect Vercel"
4Authorize Spokegrid in your Vercel account

Note: Vercel connection is optional but recommended for automated deployments. You can also deploy manually without Vercel integration.

Step 3: Configure Your Profile

Customize your profile settings for a personalized experience.

Set your display name and avatar
Configure notification preferences
Set default repository settings
Add team members (for team plans)

Verification

Verify your installation is working correctly:

You can access your dashboard at dashboard
Your GitHub profile appears in the top navigation
You can browse templates at templates
